What  Would  Your  Story-Painting  Look  Like? If your CHARACTER was portrayed as a house, what would it look like? What kind of impact are you making on your little corner of the world? How might your loved ones or associates describe you? Be inspired when you find at least one image that best describes you. You may be encouraged to MOVE. As you take an inventory of where you spiritually live at this time, be reminded that ... "There is NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8 Dilapidated Broken down, beat up, ruined or decayed.  Falling into a state of disrepair by misuse or neglect. Thriving Growing and developing vigorously. Flourishing. Like a beacon of light for all to see Christ. Standing firm in and out of the storms of life. GOD SAYS YOU ARE Are you living in the past or have you found the HOPE that is available for every believer in Christ. Hopeless Broken. Without hope. Desperate. Beyond repair. Depressed Sad and gloomy; Pressed down. Drowning. Suffocating. Anxious. Hopeful / Healed To make healthy or whole; restore to health; To free from evil; cleanse; purify: to heal the soul. Forgiven Justified (Just-if-I’d never sinned). Spiritually born-again.  Revived; restored; regenerated. If your thoughts and your soul were depicted as a vessel, what visual best describes you? Abandoned / Lonely  Rejected, Forsaken or Empty. Nurtured / Unsinkable To feed, protect, educate, or help grow. Support and encourage during training and development. How do you spend your time when you’re home alone or with others? Unguarded Unprotected and exposed to attack. Consumed by evil. Careless and not cautions;  lacking in moral restraints. Without a safeguard,  covering, barrier, or shield for protection. Protected Guarded from attacks when the enemy strikes. Sheltered. Able to withstand any storm or trial.   Knowing that God looks at the heart, how does HE see you? Ignorant / Stagnant Lack of development and knowledge; Unaware or uninformed. Inactive or motionless.  Sluggish or dull, lifeless, lazy or dead. Wise / Fruitful Spiritual growth in KNOWLEDGE and SERVICE. Fruitful seed planted in fruitful soil, followed by a fruitful rain produces a fruitful harvest. LACK of KNOWLEDGE causes non-believers and believers to struggle to live in FREEDOM. What we don’t know WILL hurt us, friend. It’s Time to MOVE if you suffer in even one of the areas on the left.   JESUS IS THE ONLY ANSWER TO MOVE TO FREEDOM: MOVE Out of Darkness MOVE Into the Light This is where you will find healing, joy, peace and self-control. Jesus gave His life so that you would not only go to Heaven when you die. If you are a follower of Christ, you are expected to enjoy life, and have it in abundance to the full, till it overflows. (John 10: 10) Let God pick you up from your brokenness. Let Him heal your broken heart. Do you believe Jesus lived, died on the cross for your sins, and was resurrected (raised from the dead) on the third day? Do you believe we are all sinners in need of a Savior? Then ask Jesus to forgive your sins. Lay your past at the foot of the cross and don’t pick it back up. Leave it there. Receive your forgiveness and begin your new-found freedom “in Christ”. MOVE  FROM BEING DEFEATED Overcome in battle. Conquered by the enemy.  Broken, bound and controlled by evil with little or no resistance. Overwhelmed into nothingness.   Move From Being Fearful Unstable; shaky; wavering; worried; anxious; nervous;  unable to fully trust God. Always taking matters into your own hands. MOVE TO BEING DELIVERED Saved from the control of your enemy, the devil.  Set free from misery, destruction and every sin ever committed. Released from the grip of bondage.     Move To Being Set Free Never wavering. Uneasily distracted by burdens.  Focused on and trusting God who fights our battles through us. We have the Bible to make our lives better, friend. So why would you want to live in darkness and in sin when God has all the answers waiting for you in the Scriptures? The two essential keys to find results are; Prayer and Bible Study with expectation of transformation by the leading of the Holy Spirit. From the time I was saved at 11-years-old and into my young adult life, I struggled in comprehending what I read. Therefore; trying to read a King James Version Bible was frustrating. My family didn’t encourage the value of reading. But, more importantly, I didn’t realize I was given the power of the Holy Spirit to teach and to guide me when I was saved. I wish I’d searched for wisdom in the years of my youth as mentioned in Proverbs 2 or sought out wise counsel. I regretfully stumbled around like a blind and deaf Israelite in the desert after being delivered from slavery in Egypt.  This huge burden was finally lifted when I discovered I'm not suppose to depend on my own intelligence to understand the scriptures and to make right choices. I'm not suppose to depend on my own strength. I strongly encourage reading a Study-Bible as well as referring to a KJV. My favorite version (so far) is a Life Application Study Bible /New Living Translation. Highlight and write in your Bible as you study privately and with groups. Ask the Lord to manifest Himself as you look into His inspired Word as a mirror to reflect His will. Meditate each day on who your study was written to and how it applies to you. Then put one foot in front of the other and walk worthy of the calling in which you’ve been called. (Ephesians 4: 1)  If you’ve been INSPIRED today, praise God! BUT, what are you going to do with that INSPIRATION? If you’re thinking, “Wow, I’ve learned something. Now it’s time to move to the next thing I need to learn!” Let’s NOT let this illustration be like another INSPIRATIONAL BOOK or even a BIBLE collecting dust on your bookshelf. Knowledge alone is not enough to do any good. You must follow knowledge with action. ASK GOD WHAT HE WANTS TO DO IN YOUR LIFE. What does He want to deliver you from? What sin do you need to repent and turn from? God want to refine and transform you into something beautiful. Will you let Him? MOVE from Inspiration MOVE to Transformation If there’s an area in your past that you can’t seem to let go of, looking back (on past disappointments or failures) should only be done when we want to thank God for what He brought us out of. It is healing to share your testimony of what God has done to encourage others. We all have suffered some sort of brokenness. But God takes every crack in our vessel and turns it into something beautiful. If you try to cover up your brokenness or pretend it doesn’t exist, you’re not only causing yourself to live in bondage and defeat, but you’re affecting every soul around you. When Christians live in defeat, in fear or in ignorance, what kind of witness are we? If you have been living in bitterness, brokenness, or unforgiveness, it’s time to give it to the LORD. SURRENDER! LET GO AND LET GOD have complete control over every area and every relationship in your life. Let the LORD JESUS heal your wounds and MOVE YOU into FREEDOM that is only possible with a growing relationship with Him. The beauty in your brokenness is where the light of Christ will make Himself known. Once you find restoration, I encourage you to share your story once God MOVES YOU. This is your testimony and God is glorified when you tell others what God brought you out of.  Romans 12 is about being TRANSFORMED into a LIVING Sacrifice to GOD           The dictionary describes Living also as an action word:           active, thriving, vigorous, strong….. as a living faith. Burning or glowing, as coal.  1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.  6 In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.  9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 17 Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. 21 Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.   5 Steps to Plan a Commissioned Painting 1)  Who is it for?              2)  What is the subject or message?              3)  Where would you like to set the stage for the scene? 4)  When - What season do you want to represent? When do you need your painting completed? Plan ahead for special events.  5)  Call or email me for a quote. If you're working with a limited budget, I'll do what I can to work with what you can afford.                 Detailed Original Oil Paintings take on the average of 8-10 weeks, which average to be around $2900.                 Pay 1/2 down when order is placed. Other 1/2 is collected when painting is completed to your satisfaction. The ideas are endless. Look through your photographs.
